In its commitment to showcasing the heritage and artistic trades and to inspiring callings for these professions, the Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris public establishment is delighted to promote apprenticeships in the context of the cathedral’s restoration.
In 2022, 2023 and 2024, nearly 58,000 apprenticeship hours were completed, including over 30,000 under professional integration schemes, thanks to terms set out in the works procurement contracts.
These hours represent the hard work of:
- 62 men and 12 women;
- 68 people on apprenticeship contracts and 6 on vocational training contracts;
- 52 people aged 18-27 years old and 21 aged 28 years old or over.
Apprenticeships in connection with the restoration concern myriad trades, from structural building trades (carpenters, roofers, stone cutters, stained-glass glaziers, metal workers, cabinet makers and joiners) to works management trades (engineers, works managers, draftspeople, etc.).
