Breaking news from the worksite: the statue of Christ has returned to the top of the south gable wall!&nbsp;Removed the day after the fire and restored, the full-length sculpture was hoisted to the top of the almost entirely rebuilt gable and now overlooks the left bank of the Seine.&nbsp;Once the statue was firmly attached to its final base, Head Architect for Historic Monuments Philippe Villeneuve repositioned the hands in the presence of Philippe Jost, President of the Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris public establishment, as well as the stonemasons and sculptors.&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="https://fb.watch/oBqMUbJ-i0/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Relive the moment in this video</a>

En direct du chantier : la statue du Christ a fait son retour au sommet du pignon sud !&nbsp;Déposée aux lendemains de l'incendie et restaurée, la sculpture en pied a été remontée sur un pignon presque entièrement reconstruit. Elle regarde désormais la rive gauche de la Seine.&nbsp;En présence de Philippe Jost, président de l'établissement public Rebâtir Notre-Dame de Paris et des tailleurs de pierre et sculpteurs, il revenait à l'architecte en chef des Monuments historiques Philippe Villeneuve de repositionner les deux mains du Christ une fois la statue bien fixée sur son socle définitif.&nbsp;<a href="https://fb.watch/oBqMUbJ-i0/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Revivez ce moment en vidéo</a>
